Lesson Goal By the end of this course, participants will be able to efficiently handle 911 calls related to heat exhaustion by understanding the symptoms, providing appropriate instructions, and coordinating with first responders to ensure a timely and effective response.This course serves as a refresher course for dispatchers dealing with heat exhaustion. It provides symptoms and effective mitigations for the dispatchers to explain to the callers. They will know and understand the difference between the different levels of heat emergencies, including heat exhaustion versus heat stroke.
